I was three months into my third year at a small (3 attorney firm) before I was let go, because of the uncertainty the Tarrifs and Interest Rates causes in our clients' projects and matters (construction/real estate). I have been looking for a job for the last 10 months to no avail. Any tips or pointers that might help would be really appreciated. I have general litigation and transactional experience, and people aren't interested in what I have to offer. Is this my new normal?

I have an offer in hand by value labs and Accenture and I’m more leaning towards valuelabs. However, I’ve seen a lot of comment online which were made in 2022 and before as well that the job security is an issue in value labs and they will fire a chunk without any prior notice.
Is it true?

An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?
