I was told my security clearance investigation was completed and awaiting adjudication (as of two weeks ago). Does this mean I passed the clearance? I don't have any major issues in my background. How long does it take to complete this part? Does this mean I'm safe for the most part from termination? I'm 7 months into my role and no issues but probationary periods are always stressful.

No news is good news.

That said, you're not clear yet. The adjudicators have final say on whether you're granted a clearance or not. What's been done so far is the background investigators have finished their work and have submitted your packet to the adjudicators, who will make the final call at some TBD point.

You're likely fine, but this is the final step in the process.

Forgot to add, with clearances just forget about it. No sense in stressing. As long as you were honest you are fine. Also no news is good news.

Thank you. I am more stressed I think with probationary period. Always have been that way. But if it's been 7 month and got my clearance done I should be safe.

Yup you’re good. The fact that you been on the job that long means you already had an interim clearance. They didn’t see anything that would cause any bumps in the road early on.

Hi fishes,
My friend have cleared Tata Elxsi interview 5 months back and received her offer letter. Still now she haven’t recvd a joining letter. Couple of other friends are also facing similar issue.
Does anyone have any update on this?
Tried mailing to the HR and to their help desk. No response.
Its really disappointing. Even if they are not able to onboard candidates now, the least they can do is aknowledge and respond to the queries.
Hope someone can give more insight onto this issue.

Hi Fishes,

I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? Happy to connect in DMs as well

Thank you for your time!

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. Is it wrong for me to expect either a promotion or to be paid to train this person?

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
