There’s such a negative view of it and as someone that’s just spent their first year on an IA team after being a public accounting high performing S1, I definitely get why people view it as a place where careers go to die. But are there any exit opportunities or skill development opportunities you’ve developed, taken or heard of that might provide insights that I’m overlooking? I'm looking for insight on how people answer the question regarding salary expectations. I did research before the interview and couldn't find anything in terms of the salary for the role. I had read that asking if there is a range or scale associated with the tile is a smart answer. I asked this and was stone walled with there isn't one, it's based on experience. I said I didn't want to commit to a number but I that I knew my experience would be valuable on the team. It felt like a standoff!

HBS/GSB grads that returned to your T2 firms, was it difficult to see your peers exit to “more prestigious” opportunities?

I’m in a closing role now, I’m selling cable. I’ve gotten it a few times where I’ll apply for an SDR role in SAAS and the recruiter will say, “We decided not to move forward because we have other candidates that are more experienced and because you’re in a closing role now”. Should I stop telling the recruiter I’m in a closing role? Should I go after an AE role? How do I get a job in SAAS with no experience?

Hi! So I got an offer to work for a competitor making about 50k+ more in base. I would be selling a similar solution but to enterprise holding group agencies ie. WPP, Omnicom Etc. I am currently selling into mid market brands and agencies (inbound) and this new role would be outbound focused. Should I leave and go to a competitor for more money with the opportunity to close larger enterprise level deals? Or stay at my current company where im comfortable.

Help! On PowerPoint when I would press ALT + arrow key it would select the object to the right. Now when I do it, it moves my currently selected object to the right most end of the PP page. Have I messed with my settings somehow or am I forgetting what the shortcut is to select the object to the right/left/up/down?
