One time I got called out for getting a client's name wrong in an agreement but turns out I got the client's name right. There's just this presumption of incompetence and an air of condescension when she gives "feedback". I'm thinking this is personal and because it affects my work morale, its seems like my cue to leave but wanted to make sure I am not overthinking. Is this normal associate/partner relationship in other firms?
It happened several times in my life. Some people just seem to be born with anger issues. I would ask whether this partner has good skills you can learn from, takes time to mentor, and provide useful feedback, before making the decision to leave.
Get out. I found myself in a similar situation and it just kept getting worse until the stress manifested itself in a physical way and I had to find a way out
