I worked in consulting from 2019 - 2022 at big4. It was the first 3 yrs in my career. i was interviewing for a role today and the hiring manager asked who the client was. It was public and the report itself is public (with my name attached to it + the rest of the project team) so I said who it was. I mentioned I presented it to the CEO. Hiring manager said “junior talent doesn’t present to c-suite”. I said I did. He said, “really? What was the ceo’s name?” (Continued in comments)

Evening! Dog owners who live in condo rentals downtown.. did you tell your landlord you had a dog? I’m in a rental with a lease that says no pets (i’m sure a common clause?) and i didn’t have any pets moving in. 6 months in, i got a puppy lol. I don’t want to invite potential conflict by updating my landlord, my lawyer partner says the no pets clause is void in toronto anyway - but I worry about a bad landlord reference if they find out i.e come for repairs.
