Have a final round of interviews as a remote candidate for a team that mainly lives in NYC. Hiring manager said during first interview that my location / remote status doesn’t matter and he has no concerns with hiring remotely for the role. How do I sell myself as a remote candidate to the other 4 team members I am meeting, knowing they all are located in the same city?

What KPIs do you give upper management to set hiring expectations for senior tech talent? What tools do you use to calculate/track applicants vs recruiters screens and submissions vs HM interviews which lead to offers?

I had two interviews last week at good PI firms. Hopefully I will finally get out of ID for 2023. I’m so done with it. I know plaintiffs work has its own challenges but I’m so over the tedious time entries and clients cutting my time and micromanaging my every decision. HR pros - I have a question for you. I got disappointing news that I didn’t get either of the roles I applied for. I was shocked because the interviews went really well and my experience was in line, if not on the higher end of requirements. I was told that it was my salary and job title expectation. I’d be ok with that if they hadn’t flown my ass out there to meet with everyone. They knew my salary and position expectations before inviting me to the interview. Should I buy it?
