I would like to increase my financial/market knowledge as I look ahead to the next step in my career. I currently work as a manager in client service, but a realistic next role is managing a group of financial advisors.

I currently have my S7, 66, 9 & 10. Initially I was thinking WMCP, but it seems like CFP may be the better option (but more time consuming). Anyone have any suggestions/experience?

CFP is definitely more comprehensive and widely recognized, especially if you're leading financial advisors. If you're looking for something less time-intensive but still valuable, CIMA could be a good middle ground!

Based on the Gross salary offered I have calculated the in hand salary per month would be around 152000 considering 150000 in 80C, 50000 in NPS and 200000 deductions due to home loan interest. Total tax liability is around 400000. Any other options do I have to save tax further (other than HRA, LTA)? Thanks in advance.

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?
