Make sure when Clear is open
5:30am should be good... honestly no difference between international and domestic flights in terms of checking in and going through security (except you need to show a passport?)
Domestic check in with bags cuts off at 45 minutes before departure, international is 1 hour before departure after 9/11
7 am flight boards at 6:20 am, you have clear and pre-check, so you should get there by 5:50/6 if you want to check a bag. Unless you don’t have decent status for the priority check in line in which case 🤷♀️
Maybe for international you should do 5:30 actually
I've never seen a tsa precheck line for international travel. Is that common?
C1 good point. Perhaps other cities are different. JFK T4 (Delta) has both domestic and intl and there’s precheck. Think atl and iad also have domestic and intl in same terminal or connected post security.
system closes exactly one hour before the flight!
Check when the airline counter opens.
Hard stop on checked intl bags at 1hr mark. That’s the only meaningful deadline in your situation.
