If I have an interview during the day should I send an invite to my manager saying that I am OOO for half an hour?

I've decided to enroll in NYU's tax LLM program part-time this fall. I'm currently at a V50 firms and I'm in the middle of lateral interviews. Would updating my application with this news hurt or help my offer prospects?

What is the average time now to hear back from interviews? Are people just getting ghosted or is there feedback?

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?

Had what had to be the best call with a recruiter I’ve ever had — she seemed so excited to pass my work to her teams, received the sweetest follow up email from her, but now it seems like she’s ghosting me. UGHHHHH. Any words of wisdom or advice? Feeling bummed because I was super excited about this opportunity.

Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). Classic consulting/Deloitte fashion: I listed SQL on my resume as a skill, where I really just have basic familiarity with core concepts, but would struggle to be tested technically on it. Upcoming interview where I’m likely to be asked about it. What do you recommend?
