If I’m working at the big 4 and considering relocating, how far should my commute be to the office? Is it worth paying the high rent or high house price to have a close commute? The move would be to Dallas, TX. I would think the more senior I get the less I would go in the office but things will probably change.

1) Let’s say you’re a recent undergrad candidate with no internships on your resume. What’s the deciding factor that you’re qualified for Advisory vs Tax vs Audit? Is it school, gpa, etc.?

2) Why can’t you switch from Tax to another SL without having to pull strings? I understand that there’s a difference in tax vs book experience but why does the Accounting field gatekeep other SLs? It’s not like we’re incapable of learning other areas.
