Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

I’d imagine it would just be a list of firms that travel the least to the most
True. We could do what investment firms have started doing and cut certain companies from their portfolio that do not match their sustainability goals. That is a bit more progressive than any consulting firm I have seen.
The other side of the coin is that oil and gas companies employ 1000s of employees and prop up several countries entire economies. It could be seen as an ethical responsibility for firms to help positively transition companies.
Typical consulting answer of “it depends” lol.
We talking compensation? Work/life balance? Class/status? Social aspects? Travel? Etc.
Then we all lose during pre-covid times with all the damn flights 😂

Per person Accenture would be doing ok as we have like 1/2 of the firm based in India and Philippines where energy consumption per person is much lower.
Based on the above logic, I would say pure Strat firms that travel most (and travel business class) probably have the highest per person carbon footprint (we all have AC in the office so that probably bets out between firms).
I’m aware that you can buy carbon-offsets but many of these are BS. For example tree-planting programmes where nobody ever checks how many of the trees survive (not many).
EY would be in the top tier

MLP has a well-functioning climate control system, yes.
We've been carbon neutral globally since 2008. Sure it's not as hard when you don't travel much, but 2008 is pretty damn early.

How are you carbon neutral? Do you buy carbon offsets? If so, you are not carbon neutral apart from over a longer period: they do not capture carbon at the same time as it it released into the atmosphere. There are projects that intend to (but often don’t) capture carbon over time. As a result, companies buying carbon credits are still contributing to climate change at almost exactly the same rate as those that don’t bother buying them.
