I can speak only for EY, Seattle is an amazing city and has awesome people, if you can handle the rainy weather, it's a great option. What is your other option?
You'll pretty much exclusively work on Microsoft.
EY1 - SF is where I interned at but I can try and go wherever. I had a great experience in SF (and live locally to SF) .. but the COL is just way too high for an associate with a family. I'm from up in WA originally, so I love the area, but don't know much about how the actual office is. Thanks!
It depends what you're doing. I go into my office 2-3 times a year, usually IT support, so...
OP - Take the job closer to home, you will have a better work life balance, also if your job is anything like mine has been the past 10 years, unless you find a stellar home client - your home office is just your base, you fly all over from there.
You'll be working for about 2 main clients and will be networking with the same teams and people. I always think liking the people you work with is more important so give it a try. If you don't like it, network and get onto bay area projects.
