How to check if Bgv is completed or not ?
My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

1. Compensation will be increased in case your new team generally pays higher than current one. For ex. if you move from data or reporting teams to modelling, you will see an increase despite horizontal movement.
2. If they can't being you at par in one go (your existing salary is way too low), they will bring you up further with higher appraisals.
3. Appraisals could be flat if you are already on the higher side :)
4. Your new manager will certainly seek feedback from previous manager, and check last couple of years if ratings (if applicable). If your new manager has interviewed you, and happy with that than your old manager's feedback will not matter much. People know why folks switch teams.
5. Your year end rating will be done by new manager with previous manager's feedback. Read point no. 4 to understand if that matters ir not.
