Who else loves free slippers?

McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

I wish someone would have told me that almost everyone's passion dries up, and eventually you just have to accept that a job is a job. If you want your passion to stay a passion, you should pick a different day job
Exactly what I’ve been feeling recently!
Don’t wait for someone to notice your hard work — they won’t. Ask for the raise, take the credit, and say no more often.
Sometimes, even when you didn’t get to do something you wanted, it leads to an even better opportunity or learning experience. I couldn’t count how many times I wasn’t on a project I so desperately wanted, only for it to open me up to something else.
I think it always help to broaden your aspirations. I’m not doing at all what I thought I would be doing when I first started in the industry but I love it! If i didn’t take that first chance on a whim and say yes, i definitely wouldn’t be where I am today.
Don’t spend too long waiting and thinking about the next steps, just do it, waiting is just a waste of time and someone else could snag the position before you.
Mistakes and failures are roads to wisdom and reflection, not a sign to quit. Also, always be in community. Join the group, sign up for the class, and volunteer for the action. Being around people who can relate will lift you up.
