Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Go to a company that will pay what you’re worth.
You need to first consider whether there is a reason for it. Are they more experienced/more skilled and more capable at doing the role than you? Do they understand the company better or are taking a larger share of the work?
If not and it still seems unfair, then raise remuneration at your next review. First try to argue your position from an experience/what benefit I bring to the business position - but if this doesn't work, sure, say you are seeking a payrise because you are aware others in the business may be earning more than you for the same role. The reaction to this will tell you everything you need to know - but remember that often immediate line managers are hamstrung by process and budgets dictated much above their heads.
Ultimately, if needsbe, be prepared to get a new job and walk away.
Nothing. Work harder so you can be him/her in the future
the myth that there is ALWAYS a direct line between hard work and salary is one that just doesn't seem to die. Unfortunately, not all organisations are meritocracies. I hope yours is
Nothing, good for them
Why do they earn more? Are they working more? Coming in weekends? Doing anything the owner asks? Creating more value?
