I need to know if I’ve pigeon-holed myself. I have an undergrad in music business, and got a lot of good experience then. Worked in live events for 4 years before returning to law school, intending to practice in entertainment law (specifically music). Got a summer internship at a boutique entertainment firm, but no offer due to the small market. Moved to a larger market, but I’m not in one of the “hotspots”. Just had a “tech screen” with a startup where the interviewer was rude and condescending. Kept berating me when I made a minor mistake and talked over me when I’d try to explain my thought process.

Note to interviewers, do better. It’s a candidate’s market and you’ll have a hard time attracting talent with a toxic culture.
