It seems that the trend lately has been hiring people for higher level SE roles that have more Salesforce experience. I just saw someone with no pre-sales experience and lots of Salesforce experience hired I to a Lead SE role, so it definitely happens.
Yep you should have no problem. With Sr you’ll still get to log overtime.
What do they look for in the ideal candidate?
Friend of mine got senior with 3 YOE salesforce experience and no pre sales experience - definitely go for lead
Thanks! Will go for lead
It will all depend on the role and segment you’re going for…. More Salesforce experience doesn’t equal higher level at hiring.
You can have 0 Salesforce experience and get Lead as long as you’re and experienced SE.
I know someone who landed Lead with no more than military service and a year of Trailhead. It’s all about how you sell yourself.
