What’s the difference between a corporate financial analyst versus a financial analyst at BAH? I’m assuming the corporate position is an internal role; is that generally viewed as a tier below anyone client facing in terms of salary and career progression?
Does anyone have information on Deloitte’s tax transformation group? Any general info, work/life balance, is it remote, etc.

Hello Fishes, I'm having total 7+ yrs of experience among which recent 2 yrs in automotive functional safety. Recently interviewed with HCL what shall I mention as my expected CTC. Thanks in advance.
I am in the UK and actively looking for a new senior/Manager role in consulting. I have 7.5 experience is in SAP over 50 consulting as Technical project delivery lead , 1 year in cisco APM(Appdynamics). I do not mind transitioning out of SAP to emerging technologies in big data, AI, cloud, etc. I am happy to share resume/cv for recommendation to deloitte, ACN, KPMG, microsoft or any of the top 7 consulting firms.
Fairly new to a big tech company out of B4. Incredible and lucky move career wise and I was never going to turn it down. I'm enjoying the hard skills I get to develop but I'm having a tough time caring about my team's product. Given this and especially while remote, it's hard to stay focused and be productive. Figured those still in consulting could relate. Any advice or perspective to offer?
How long are your banks WFH for? We hear back on 3/27 regarding potential extension, and I’m working remote right now....just curious if anyone has color on how long most banks intend to allow WFH
I was confident that my late-stage interview with Uber went well - just received a rejection email. Perhaps I'm rationalizing, but is it safe to chalk this up as a good miss given the volatility of their business?
Rejected by 2 exit ops after on-sites where 2 of 3 recruiters sent a personal message/email saying something like "you seem great/qualified but not the right fit". One said "the HM said you seem really bright and would hire asap if we were looking for a generalist". Another said "this isn't about weakness or lack of experience, just questions on fit". Do recruiters say this to a lot of people or is this genuine? Trying to gauge whether my interview performance is at least solid.
Haven’t been getting any interview leads for months. Finally got one that would have been a good fit - thought I did really well for both rounds and just got the rejection email. Feeling defeated. Any advice / words of encouragement?
What are the potential benefits of working at a deals oriented firm (e.g., LEK, S& Deals, EY-P) as compared to the more traditional Big 4 MC type roles at the post-M level? Really struggling with putting in the hours for the deals centric role as I’m not 100% sure of the longer term payoff (besides short term slight bump in comp).
Hi all - I’m working as a Jr AE at a remote agency. Before full-time at this agency, I interned there for 2 years and often did pro-bono work. I love my company so much, but I often feel stuck when it comes to salary and growth. The salary is minimum wage and every time I ask about a raise they agree I need one but never get around to it. Today, I was offered a position at another agency as a remote AE with more than double my current salary. I didn’t seek this job out but don’t know what to do.
Reviewing resumes and I see more and more frequent that people last one year or less at a job and move on to the next. Is that the new norm? I’m a millennial but my last job I was with for over 4 years. Can I ask in the interview why they’ve moved around so much? Or find a nicer way of asking that. I’m definitely looking for longevity not a hopper.
If you could work remote from anywhere in the US, where would you? (Within reason, of course)
Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
Non tech person interested in pursuing tech exit opps. I know you don’t NEED it, but any certificates that would make my resume stand out?

All service based companies will continue to suffer with attrition unless they start implementing their work life balance theories in reality and not in mails. Fuckin tired of this kind of slave IT culture we propogate here in india.
Have an interview with an AI company next week. Role is in sales. Recruiter suggested i read Prediction Machines since I have a very introductory knowledge of AI/ML. Since there’s limited time, what short books or podcasts/videos would you all recommend in lieu of prediction machines?

Is the $550 fee for Chase Reserve worth it?
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that we’re not gonna be required to come back in the office come September with the delta variant picking up speed
The TCS HR asked me to upload all the educational certificates, last hike letters, last 3 pay slips, ID proofs and past work experience letters before the salary discussion. To which I said, I will upload the payslips and hike letter for now as they are required for salary discussion. And will provide other docs post salary discussion based on the out come. Now, she is like "You seem reluctant to share basic information and hence we are not proceeding further".
H1B visa and 6 years are almost up. Received approved perm and waiting on I-140 followed with the 3 year extension. To switch from company A to company B - what are the factors that are to be considered?
“If after Sept. 1, employees want to work remotely for more than 14 days per year, they will need to formally apply” So their employees can work 1 remote day per month basically? Did not expect this from Google tbh, and I know many companies have been following Google’s guidance when it’s come to remote work during the pandemic
