You should apply in both
Don't even think about taking unemployment benefits....you'll never get a job in the future.
sm1, what are you talking about? Or, I should clarify, you have no idea what you're talking about.
P2
is this not answered on your portal somewhere? 🤦♂️
(Continued) the state where physically worked is also the same state of personal residence.
I'm getting a not so straight answer from HR. When I started, I asked about the significance and impact of the home office location. HR provided that it was just home location and no relevance on taxes, financial, etc. But they provided Benefit documents regarding all things related to insurance to the home office location state.
If you physically worked, you wouldn't be collecting unemployment. If you are laid off / fired / etc, it goes by the rules of your home office's state.
Hmm that sucks. When I'd inquired any financial/tax related impact in selecting either of the home offices, I was told it was jot relevant. Was my HR wrong?
Yes...
You should apply with the state that pays more. You can apply in either state.
P2, that works for about a week until you get caught.
A1 I was just trying to think outside the box... But I'll go back k side the box now
Lol SM is trolling, right?
Accenture 1, are you certain? If that's possible, it's be great.
I'm pretty sure thats fraud, brother
D2...fraud relate to PWC2 or A1?
If you work in one state and live in another, you must file your claim for unemployment benefits with the state where you worked. Your claim will be subject to that state's rules and benefit limits. An out-of-state unemployment claim is known as an interstate claim.....google
I worked and lived in two states, I filled in the state that paid more. You can file in either and pick, or will be either an in state claim or an interstate claim which is s little different but nothing wrong with choosing wisely
