Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure. I'd probably to some type of marketing or publishing
My husband is a plumber. 😂☺️, I actually thought about law school when I was younger. Then I wanted to be a hairstylist. I didn’t do it because people thought I was too smart to do that. They clearly didn’t know how much chemistry is involved especially when you are coloring or performing a chemical service. I actually have my cosmetology license but I got it after I was teaching and I didn’t have enough money saved to quit my teaching job to pursue it on a full time basis. Now I am looking into having some residual income and becoming an entrepreneur.

Traveling more. Driving a nicer car. Living in a much larger house and eating out far more often.
Horticulture!
I have done other jobs from cashier to cook to store manger to letter carrier for the US Postal Service to hotel night auditor. The most difficult one was the Postal Service as it is physically demanding. I, at one time, wanted to be a stewardess, but then I realized that they are just waitresses in the sky. I have also thought about tour guide as I love travelling and have served as an unofficial guide on many tours. Teaching is the best. I really love it. I say, "Do what you want to do!" Almost anything will pay more than teaching, and you need to have something you enjoy.
I'd be a photographer for a company like National Geographic. Organic farming sounds good too
I have always thought a plumber is the ideal job. Work for yourself, set your hours, make a ton of money. But I couldn’t deal with the dirty jobs. I can barely deal with dishes in the sink! I would have been a doctor. I was on that path and veered. Or a speech language pathologist. They at least have great opportunities to work second jobs or move out of the education field.
I am not a teacher but my dad was a substitute teacher. Wasn’t getting enough pay and no social security or unemployment was taken out of pay check. I told him to just stay home and pursue what he loves – writing book.
Forensic detective
I've done enough DIY plumbing to know I could never make that a career 🤣
College football coach is a path I had an opportunity to pursue, but turned away from because of the lifestyle. I could see an alternate universe where I pursued that.
Otherwise, as much as I enjoy traveling, any job where that was a major part would be very appealing.
I’d be the park ranger, probably broke and divorced as well.
Something productive.
