For my skin health and looks? I’d spend it for a reputable doctor
this is fairly standard for a dermatologist vs an injector
also-i would advise against a clinic. i would go to a board licensed dermatologist
I see a high-end derm for Botox, fillers and lasers. My first consult was free. The products and procedures are expensive as it is. If it were me I would try to find another option unless their work is actually that much better. But agree with other comments to stick with a board certified derm and don’t go the med spa route.
I’ve had great results with a plastic surgeon for Botox and laser treatments and there $150 consults always seem to apply to the same services you are looking to get. I was looking for a place that didn’t go overboard and kept my skin very natural. Botox is not an area to risk it on, especially your first time!
Maybe I'm naive, but I started with Botox at a derm so I could understand how much I needed and where I liked it, and then switched to a *much* cheaper derm spa once I was more comfortable articulating what I wanted and needed.
Could you book an annual skin check with this derm and see if they’d do a consult during your check up at the end? Cosmetics is a pure moneymaker for their practice so they may be willing to..
Assuming you start with one or the other (Botox or laser as they address different things), you can always pepper in questions over time and build the relationship with your doctor.
This is a great suggestion!!
