I’m a jr litigation associate with many years of tech work pre law school. A former coworker has offered to submit my resume for a legal role at her company (also tech) basically doing contract and privacy work as well as other tasks relevant to my former work life. My current resume is full of litigation experience from law school, since my resume is written for applying to lit positions. On the one hand, it bolsters my legal experience. On the other, it’s not relevant to this role. Do I cut?

No. Just be prepared to discuss in the interview how your litigation skills can translate over to the existing position (e.g., managing lots of different matters and deadlines all at once, etc.)

I recently made a jump from large companies with marketing teams off 50-100+ …. To being the entire marketing team myself. I’ve seen marketing ops and analytics work well and know just enough to know that the systems and processes i inherited are NOT working well. I’d like to approach the CEO about hiring a marketing ops/digital marketing manager to be our salesforce/hubspot admin along with managing social and web analytics. What’s a reasonable salary to budget for this role?

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...

2 months later and I am still waiting...
