I'm up for a pharma agency senior CW role in the Rx/HCP vertical. I have been freelancing for 11 years, so mostly contract rates between $50 and $80 p/h (lower end on W2, higher 1099). They want to know my 1099 rate and salary requirements if full-time employee. Would $75 hourly and $110K be within range? They are in Philadelphia. I have been working in the Chicago, San Fran, and NYC markets mostly.

If we didn’t get hike/promotion due to poor ratings. What would be the solution to overcome this issue, Do i need to wait for one more year or can anyone help me to take decision.

I am a Strategic Sourcing Manager with 7 YOE in both direct and indirect spend across various industries (Life sciences, IT and Insurance) I have been offered a role with Fidelity for 13 lpa + 1.5 variable. Offer seems better than the national average for similar roles but I feel I would be underpaid based on the current market, my skills and value I will be bringing to the table. Asking for wife who's also in banking. If she got ~$100k in signing bonus in 2019 for 1 year commitment in CA and started FT in July 2020, assuming she leaves before July 2021, can her employer claw back full amount in California? Some say it's much tougher to do so under CA law but wonder if anyone has any insights. Banks won't likely care about analyst signing bonuses, but associate bonus at EB with diversity bonus can be significant. If she quits before, she won't be going to another bank.

Timing for recruiting for the purpose of negotiating salaries: I like my job/company, but know I can get a better salary with my skills/experience elsewhere. With promo reviews coming up, I expect to receive a promotion, but want to have another offer to inflate my salary a bit more. Anybody have insight on the timing and general do/don’t?
