JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

It’s missing quantitative results and don’t mention previous rejection
Agree on quantitative. The previous rejection is ok. Google wants to see persistence and hear what you’ve done since. The wording I would change though.
Don’t send cover letters, especially this one
Pretty sure no one reads cover letters anymore. Just make sure you have a well-detailed and well-written resume that highlights your achievements.

Make sure your resume covers the results of your efforts, not just the efforts themselves. Software companies want employees who seek out and deliver against opportunities for value.

Where do you need a cover letter? Apologies for my ignorance
This is a bit of a snooze. Your cover letter shouldn’t be a rehash of your resume. Put stuff in there that you couldn’t put in your resume if you want to. But unless you did a major thing that saved the company millions, don’t repeat your resume.
Connect to their values. Companies love that crap
Google doesn’t care about cover letters, just a super quantitative resume !
