I’m at a crossroads between two job offers right now. One has a much higher salary ($15K), but the company culture seems like it might not be a good fit, while the other has a lower salary but a much better work-life balance and overall vibe. I’m leaning toward choosing culture over pay, but it’s hard! Have any of you been in this position? How did you choose? Any advice?

Why not keep your current job with company culture and wait until you find a job offering both ?

I would stay

Hello, not sure if I should move this to the Referral Bowl or here is good.
I have multiple years of working in Sysadmin/Tier 2-3 roles. Still experience trouble getting another SysAdmin role since I lost mine. I live in a state with plenty of work if sec-cleared. I cant get one.

Anyone work somewhere that could use an exceptional sysadmin, and that understands people aren't their past mistakes. Stuck back on helpdesk & want back to sysadmin
Have documented proof of work/performance

Just posting as a reminder to LEAVE that job (within a reasonable time 😂) and go where the money is!

(p.s. I already know some of you have had higher increases in the same amount of time & I consider 6 months minimum is “within a reasonable time”)
