Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Hi fishes! My spouse is planning to go to India but we would need to get her visa stamped before coming back. I see that getting appointment is such a huge problem right now. Are you joking? Just apply to T2 and MBB now and go with the best offer you get if you want to move to a different consulting firm.
Moving laterally is real hard as you get higher up, both in terms of the stars lining up for opportunities and more importantly in terms of rebuilding your reputation and network. You almost always slow down your progression due to the need to rebuild and your risk of failure is much, much higher than someone home grown
Overthinking. Just aim for MBB and T2 at the same time. Literally no reason not to. It’s the same prep for both though the bar is different.

It depends on where your MBA is from, what you do for B4 ...
But let’s say if you are able to switch, definitely shoot for T2/MBB
Thanks. It’s a top 20 MBA. Currently doing implementation in Advisory
