yes but the client will need to pay CC a fee. your rate will most likely not go up.. the employer won’t be incentivized to change your rate.

why do you want CC not to be involved? what are you trying to do?

Client would need to pay the buyout fee. Client probably knows your rate already.
setting up expectations:
It honestly sounds like you need to have an honest conversations with your client FIRST. You want to make sure your client will agree to your rate, and that there will be enough projects for a buyout to make sense. You want to paint a picture that’s a win-win.
rates:
Minimum rates for design (via third party) is AT LEAST $45/50/hr. I personally hire other designers at all levels out of my own pocket for my own projects. I don’t even pay them $30/hr! that’s not right!
CC gets a buyout fee if you’re offered FT work. From what I understand it’s a pretty high fee.
