Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

Id do the BD but keep your hours fixed with previously scheduled external commitments. You create good will, show yourself as a team player, and don't burn bridges.
The world is smaller than you think. Don't think that when you leave a company or when someone else leaves a company that you won't cross paths with them ever again - even if you are switching industries. I have been fortunate to be able to leverage these kinds of connections 5-10 years into the future. Piss off folks and yes, I'd close doors for people who just wanted to sit on their butt.
Do the BD but log off at 5

Is that a cough I hear?
My thoughts exactly, you are looking awfully ill, might take a couple days to recover.
Put your 2 weeks now or be a grown up adult and just work, no?
Actually Deloitte 1 - even I’m not sure
I understood what you were saying, other than I think you were objecting to the Bain person’s comment and you’re in favor of OP not doing BD work before they leave. Right?
I agree with SP1, don’t burn a bridge. Congrats
Don’t do jack and submit a ridiculous number of lead feedback requests. Good luck 🔥🌉
I love the “flame on” emoji. LOL
Yeah I wouldn’t even respond lol…day before you go “oh sorry I missed this message”
“The world is smaller than you think”. It’s absolutely not, no oneoutaide of consulting gives af about consultants
Tell them you’re leaving the firm for a competitor so it may not be in their interest to include you in the proposal effort. If they say no problem just collect all the resumes and reformat or something lame like that, just go ahead and do it and use EYQ or something
Say yes and do a half assed job until you give your notice. Too many places back out of offers so hedge your bet in case that happens.
Call out sick and let the interested party know you may need to take time off via family leave. That buys you plenty of time
I’d just tell them the situation if you’re close, a similar situation happened to me and I just was like cool I’ll get 1-2 hrs max help from them and nothing after hours
Just say you’re busy
Im waiting to hear back
What’s BD stand for?

Don’t do it lol just ride the wave for 2 weeks
Their probably going to cut you and others anyway. I’d wait it out and collect free unemployment until your next job. Take a nice vacation with your severance package and unemployment benefits. I bet you’re with a company like Accenture or Avanade.
