I've received an offer from LnT (29 LPA), is that good enough to resign now , considering my CCTC is 25.8.

Also, I'm almost 90 pc sure that i may be released within a week of resignation as my project contract has not been renewed and we're in handover phase.

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well. I am able to pay the bills with my hourly defense work, which gives me time to focus on a handful of high value PI case a year on contingency. I was recently negotiating a case and was told part of the reason the claims rep/OC was jerking me around was because they didn’t see me as a plaintiffs attorney. Student loans question: my sister has $100K in loans. She has $15-20K sitting in her bank account. The question that I’d like your guys’ input on is whether she should reduce her principal (and thereby total interest payments) by paying down debt lump sum ASAP or is she better off chipping away where certain months she adds on $500-$1000 to her fixed payment?
