Just do it! In this job market this job is a unicorn!
I would in a heartbeat, but I don’t have a lot of weekend plans, and the time off through the week would more than make up for it. A pay increase would just be icing on the cake for me. Advice for you, though, think about it and don’t commit if it isn’t realistic to do long-term.
I would do it for the short term because that's a really good amount of money. But I probably wouldn't stay for very long. I get burnt out on never having my weekends.
Maybe you could get someone to swap a shift or two if push comes to shove! I don’t like working every weekend!
I would do it. However, I rarely get weekends off anyway. So I guess I wouldn’t see it as that big of a sacrifice. You’re going to have to decide what it’s worth to you.
It depends on if you have children as it is good to be off when they are. However if you don't have children and you really need the uplift in salary, then weekends are slower and less hectic and may be a good change. I worked from 6am until 6pm on Saturday and Sundays and weekends are much better and a lot calmer than weekdays. I didn't get pay differential, so if they offer that then it's a pretty good deal.
Tough tough trade-off. I might try it to see how I like it.
