I'm getting ready to apply for a L6 nontech Sr PM role. Any suggestions for preparing my stories? I'm career military so we don't have to necessarily deal with a customer, not to sure how I can fit my leadership stories to their customer obsession.

Any recommendations on books to get up to speed on leading/managing teams as a new manager in consulting? Preference towards tangible case studies etc. vs. high level concepts.

Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.
