I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Excellent communication skills & mote and more networking!! Work smart
Saw two great tips on this on Instagram of all places. One was encouraging a shift from being directly involved in delivering work to setting up systems that your team members can leverage (ex. training materials, sample methodologies).
The other was a servant leadership tool I think was called the CHeF method to use when assigning work to your team: give Context as to why they’re doing it, ask how you can Help, and Follow up regularly to check its status and completion.
Hopefully these hit some practical notes you’re looking for, if any. Also ditto trust no one, I’m relatively new to the same transition but can already tell it can be terribly cutthroat.
How did you get it? It means you’re doing it already
I agree, it’s difficult to make the jump. I have frequent and discussions with my boss about growth. I think that helped them feel comfortable with putting me in a role I might not be prepared for.
