I'm in a dilemma. Ryt now I have 21k in student loan after poly. My salary is only 3k So I want to get a degree from a private uni like Kaplan that only takes 1.5 years to complete; it costs around 23k. There is another degree which cost only 5k in total bu,t it is not as great as Kaplan ..its just there to show that u have done a degree. In the future I plan to do CFA. So my question is if I am doing CFA , does it really matter if I get my degree from Kaplan or frm an avg Uni ?

I have been looking for a job in mining or civil engineering from past 2-3 months, havent even got a reply yet, reason being i dont have canadian experience. Even though i do have 3.5 years experience from my home country, without canadian experience i get rejected at even entry level jobs. Does anyone know what to do ? please help me

I’m so burned out and not sure what to do. 29 in Texas. I am currently a Deli Manager. My experience is in banking, real estate, shipping and receiving, caregiving and the obvious retail. Unfortunately I struggle getting a job due to a deferred adjudication on my record for theft. It was dismissed but it still pops up I have 4 more years before I can seal the record. Idk what I could do and still make a living.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way

Been in consumer insights all my work life (10 years) and considering pivoting to product or product marketing manager roles. Yet I have had some interesting convos for people manager roles in insights recently and wondering if I should maybe refocus my efforts there. I’m looking for a broader mandate than just my immediate pipeline. I have been enjoying insights but grow frustrated by the lack of decision-making power. I rather would want to take a path with high long term career potential.
