I'm in finance now and don't really NEED the CPA. I feel like I should get it because it will be good to have in the future. But idk it's so much studying.
I have taken it before when I worked in audit but I had constant busy seasons so failed and kind of gave up. Now in finance it doesn't really matter.

The CPA for you would be a good thing to have in your pocket for “just in case.” If you do decide to take it this year, all of the prep courses suggest that you take BEC and Audit this year before the exam changes in 2024.

Yes! I saw it all changing so now would be the best time to hop on that train and get it put of the way.

If you start now you have until June 2025 to get it done (depending on your state) so take your time and do one a quarter.

I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I’ve been working with Amazon for a year, but there’s a lack of prospective EE positions within the company. The job postings I see are either less or barely above my current salary. I’m not sure if staying longer is beneficial for my future career as an Electrical engineer. I plan on getting my FE license within the next 6 months. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Studied accounting and finance but worried about the future of this profession. Currently working in Forensic Consulting but want to leave. Should I go back to undergrad and get a computer science degree? I honestly want a career where I could at least potentially make 600 k per year. I feel in accounting it’s near impossible. Additionally, I’m sick of people looking down on me. My gf is getting a PhD in a social science and gets way more respect then me. I am 25 also. HELP
