I'm in the process of interviewing for a role that I can definitely nail. Would probably be overqualified, but I'm looking for options in other orgs where there is potential for growth (upward mobility). So stepping back to move up is worth it. I know that when I ask about growth in interviews, it's usually "there's a possibility", and then nothing really comes of it. What's the reality of moving up in Amazon. I've heard mixed things.

I applied and got a position for aws . I got an offer and asked some questions. I didn't get a reply, from multiple individuals. Two weeks later received a phone call that my recruiter was let go and I was in limbo essentially, they said they'd get in touch with me closer to the timeline we discussed and they were sorry about the mixup. I called back the person to get more information (since I was running errands) and nothing again. No response and no other way to contact this person. Ideas?
