I'm interviewing for an SDR role, and I saw the company has over 10 openings on LinkedIn. Is it a bad idea if I ask the hiring manager about sales team turnover? I can't tell if this is just fast growth or something else.

There's nothing wrong with asking that question, though it should fit into the context of the conversation. It might come off awkwardly if you say you noticed something on LinkedIn that you found puzzling or disturbing. To be really honest, I'd be a little curious and skeptical about the openings on LinkedIn, my first thought would be they're trying to look like they're doing a lot of hiring, and that can be interpreted as a troubling sign.

I don't think there is anything wrong with asking that. You want to know why there are so many openings and I think that is a fair question.

Definitely ask. If it’s “fast growth,” they’ll brag. If it’s “fast turnover,” they’ll dodge. Either way, their reaction tells you everything you need to know.

Good Morning all,

Since I pivoted into TA (from the Wild West known as Finance) Tech Recruiting has always been the goal. But I’m having a hard time finding a way to get into that space (I do understand there’s a hiring crisis). Nevertheless, does anyone know of tech companies that are hiring? I may be low on the experience side so I’m willing to look at contract/ entry roles as well. Also, any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

Hi! I’m on the corporate side and had a quick question. We work with a bunch of consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, Deloitte, and LEK) and I’m putting together a leadership offsite. I’m pretty sure I can get at least one of these for some sort of leadership / strategy session. Sounds stupid but what kinds of sessions should I be asking when my team asks for what they can offer (as a freebie lol)
