You know what? Hybrid is great but remote is better

Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

Toronto ad fish 🤠 I’ve spent most of my career working as a copywriter in London (6 years here, 2 years Toronto) and the market is pretty different here. I’m planning on moving back home but wondered….how do you find work in Toronto? Agencies barely post openings, is the recruiter scene strong? Is it mostly who you know?

Umm yeah on a regular! I just take it one day at a time and do the best I can. Mentally I acknowledge I am only one person and here for 8hrs a day minus lunch and nobody is going to rush me. Since at my job so many things are up in the air which I dislike I create the expectation. For example FMLA forms will be completed within 7 business days no if ands or buts. Patients have to be accountable as well for their care and they have to prepare in advance instead of waiting to the last minute. Most times I complete them well before 7 days but I give myself grace 🤷🏾♀️
I love the fact that I have finally made it to a supervisory position, but it comes with so much paperwork - lol. I never realized how much was required with this position. I do love it, but I miss the one-on-one patient interaction. It was definitely an adjustment for me and I'm still getting used to it.
