Hi! I was on concerta for 2 yeats and something felt off. I was sleepy and felt a but dragged down. Just switched to vyvance after months of trial and error with my doc and this makes a world of difference. I now feel like my old self at times, which is very very nice. Good luck on your journey!
Thank you. Looking forward to trying it.
Is it a red flag to ask a dr for a specific medication because I’ve also heard good things. My dr wants me to try Ritalin which for some reason just freaks me out.
I hated ritalin. It made me have these terrible crashes and I would just feel so wiped out after it wore off. I like adderall much better.
Medication shift can be a good thing! Remember you're not married to anything so if you don't like the way Vyvance feels, speak up earlier than later about it and insurance can probably get you on something else.
Vyvance worked well for me. I've been using it for about six months. No real side effects.
Let's hope it works! I am trying new natural methods to see if they work!
Big fan of all the natural ways. My brain has been interrupting my sleep and it’s not good for my health. Hoping this helps calm my racing mind.
Vyvanse worked great for me. It was the one that worked the best for me out of all of them. Good luck
Vyvance is also a stimulant it just works in a different way. Good luck!
Thank you
I hope it works out of you because I can definitely feel how dramatically it effects my behavior. I just zone out...get a lot done but I am a zombie to all the people around me when it kicks in.
Same ^^ I tried Vyvanse first and it literally made me feel like I was in slow motion. I could drown focusing on whatever was in front of me, but I had zero motivation to move on to the next thing. Another weird side effect was it made me talk really loud…as if I had no control over the volume of my voice. Anyone else? Anyway, I switched to generic adderall and could not be happier. I’ve also had some good luck with Thesis (nootropics). Good luck!
My insurance didn't approve it. But that could be because I haven't tried anything besides adderall which I currently take.
It took a week to get mine approved. You may know, there are discount codes and coupons through GoodRx and my psychiatrist gave one too.
***Update*** Finally started this week on 10mg. Don’t think I feel anything. I know it’s a low dose so may give myself time to slowly increase so I find the right dose.
I was so off last week and turns out it was PMS. Omg. Hormones cause more disruption than any drug. Feel so much better once I get my period.
More to come.
