A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Are you tricking us into telling our secrets so you can identify security risks? 😟🤔
no, i’m genuinely asking

If they are strictly personal files, then why not work with your IT security to get a temp bypass on the USB locks and download to an external drive? Have them do a scan after the transfer to verify no company or proprietary files were moved.
One trick I used, but again only for personal files or files related to my departure, is to open up your personal email in a browser, compose an email and attach all the files, then leave it in draft mode. You can attach quite a bit of files this way since you are not actually sending. When done, open your email on your personal computer and save the files from your draft email. You may need several drafts to move this many files.
From a loss prevention standpoint, it will still register as a large volume of data going to Gmail, sent or not. That will probably trigger an investigation.

You are in IT
lol, ironically, yes. but i’m not a Cyber expert.
Are there ways to do this that avoid getting caught? Yes. Are there reasonable justifications for transferring 10gb of data if you are not a film editor or sfx person? No.
Two options:
1) Print all documents and create binders for future use
2) Open each document and take pictures with your personal phone and store them in your personal cloud
😛
Pro tip: Leave it alone. Many companies deploy software watchdogs that look for this type of data dump behavior. If you trip an alarm trying, you're going to create serious problems for yourself. The data is company property and your separation agreement will reinforce this.
Most companies have some sort of DLP on laptops. You need to do the hard work of identifying personal files and email them to your personal account and be able to defend yourself if your audited

Can you not just enail them to yourself on a gmail

Email is literally what I did for hundreds of my own personal files.
Google Drive, email zip file
Email is your friend but do not email to your personal account.
Where else would one email it to?
What about keeping it in drafts of Gmail?
I don't think our a&m laptops in Europe block usb...think it's safe to transfer things that way? Swear out IT department is very lacking
thanks, everyone. i promise, i don’t have any ill intentions here. i’ve been with my current firm for many years and i have some personal stuff (scanned docs) saved on my work computer.
thank you for all your input.

10Gb worth?
I would refrain from emailing any sensitive documents,I know of several cases where folks were fired for emailing sensitive documents that had client info..you can just print out your personal documents..

I have a question here, will I be monitored if I share the same files to my personal id from a client id mail?? Since both company n client outlook accounts can access the data on my local.. what are the odds of client company tracking our file transfers??
You are silly, but I'm trying the thread.

Take a picture with your phone of the screen. But first delete your work email, etc from your phone. Then recreate said document based on that screenshot.
