I'm looking to switch from criminal prosecution to in house. I have a 13 year background in healthcare and white collar fraud investigations. I'm looking to limit litigation (I've tried enough cases) and hopefully increase pay switching from government.

I am getting summarily rejected from a lot of postings and I'm wondering if it's even possible to switch over. Anyone make the jump or have advice on doing work to make the transition?

I really need help from everyone here: I am a tax senior, and I have offer from both EY and MNP. I was at Deloitte earlier and I am not sure which to pick. Same package/benefits. While EY is a great firm and the partners are amazing and all experiences of Big4 and it's resources, MNP has this charm of a Canadian firm and great culture. I don't know much but people say MNP is a great organization. The people I will work with are all amazing to speak during interview. What to do now?

I am currently in maternity leave till end of the year. I want to change job and having some interviews in the upcoming weeks! If the interviewer ask when can I start and why? Can I tell them I need to start in Jan next year bc I am in maternity leave?? Is this going to look bad on me if I say so?

Considering Lasik and will be on my old employer’s insurance for a little longer before starting at Google. Does anyone know whether Google’s health insurance covers a certain amount for Lasik? And if so, how much? Trying to figure out if I should wait. TIA!!

I Joined UST on Nov'21 and before UST I was not under any tax slabs. I had only 1 LIC premium being deducted on monthly basis. Though I declared the LIC amount from April 2021 to March 2022. I have still got LIC statements till Dec2021 only.
