I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $350k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!

Trying to get some salary data. I’m a 2016 grad doing global litigation in house in a major metro area (NYC/DC/SF). My salary is $182K. I'm looking to switch from criminal prosecution to in house. I have a 13 year background in healthcare and white collar fraud investigations. I'm looking to limit litigation (I've tried enough cases) and hopefully increase pay switching from government.

I am getting summarily rejected from a lot of postings and I'm wondering if it's even possible to switch over. Anyone make the jump or have advice on doing work to make the transition?

I’m not finding much online about lower-level salaries for in-house positions since they’re not as common as mid- or senior-level roles and am expecting an offer, but I’m not sure what’s a reasonable goal for salary negotiations.

I’ve read a number of comments on this app and across the internet about the company in general but the individuals never specify what team they’re referring to. I’ve heard from two corp counsel that AWS doesn’t have the best WLB but Prime Video does. I’d be interested to hear what this bowl has to add.
