Hi Fishes, I am having one year experience as a Backend Engineer. I am having a offer of 7 LPA as a Business Analyst in a start-up also looking forward for Product Management Role in coming years.

TCS offered me a Data Engineer Profile with usual hike, will be getting around (3.75).

It is January 1, 2023 and you are closing you December time. You realize that you missed your annual bonus target of 2,000hrs by 1hr of billable time. Your firm has made it clear that you won’t get any bonus if you don’t hit the minimum. What, if anything, are you going to do?

I feel I am kinda lost about to do next after working in the agency analytics world for 5 year. Definitely want to switch to tech as the pay is higher and the work looks more interesting to me. Couple of paths that I have been considering: data scientist, data engineering, product analytics. Would like to be in more technical roles for the next couple of years. No offer yet (thanks hiring freeze!) but I was told to expect 182-196 base, 10-13% bonus, and RSUs, with total comp in mid-200s for years 1 and 2. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $350k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!

Any insight into jr-level associate legal counsel compensation at a public tech co in Austin? I’m not finding much online about lower-level salaries for in-house positions since they’re not as common as mid- or senior-level roles and am expecting an offer, but I’m not sure what’s a reasonable goal for salary negotiations.

Trying to get some salary data. I’m a 2016 grad doing global litigation in house in a major metro area (NYC/DC/SF). My salary is $182K.
