Hollywood is a tough commute from the west side since there’s no freeway that connects. I would guess that the commute from CC to HW would be about 45 minutes. I would live in Studio City, Toluca Lake, Los Feliz, Atwater Village, or Glendale.
I live in Larchmont and love it. Just over a mile and a half to Hollywood and has a great neighborhood feel. Lots of luxury apartment buildings popping up too

Hello - I’m renting out my place in century city if of interest? Walking distance to the mall and the equinox gym there.
I would not live in Hollywood, too touristy and cheesy and can get pretty rowdy. Not to mention the homelessness over there is really bad and they’re an aggressive bunch. If you wanna be close to the office I would check out West Hollywood, Fairfax District, La Brea/Mid Wilshire area, Culver City is great but might be too far. Pico Robertson is great too, so is Rancho Park and Century City (kinda boring area tho). Beverly Hills is really nice but obviously pricey. If you wanna be closer to East LA but an easy commute to your office then maybe check out Los Feliz and Silverlake. Lastly you could check out Studio City on the other side of the mountains from Hollywood (still a simple and fairly easy commute)
Some of those area have very dense housing, heavy street traffic and limited parking. I wouldn’t want to live in Fairfax or mid wilshire without off street parking.
Go live in weho thx
Mid-Wilshire/Fairfax, larchmont or weho. Would highly recommend Mid-Wilshire/fairfax to be central to everything and there’s a lot of nice buildings. I would avoid Wilshire/la brea and 5600 Wilshire, I looked at those when I first moved and they were very cheap looking and didn’t have anyone working on site. Feel free to DM me if you’re interested in that area and I can share specifics about buildings
Yall rock tyvm. Looked at 5550 wilshire, Desmond and checking out palazzo today. Then the Parker tomorrow, but I’m liking those areas. I like the Avalon West Hollywood but feels a bit too close to Hollywood and far from westside
