I resigned from TCS in August and in another 18 days it's my LWD with TCS, now i got call from my lead saying they will provide canada onsite opportunity and he said he has multiple projects at onsite which he can give me, some are saying it's just a gimmick to retain you nothing else, my DM asked me to say yes or no by tomorrow so that he can start the process he said once i get approval mail then only i can take back my resignation. Absolutely, there are a ton of jobs where you do not have to have a CPA. That being said, there are the obvious advantages to having one. I started in bookkeeping and went from there. Helps to get in somewhere and you can better see what you want to do and what certs/degrees will be best.

Yes. I don't have a cpa and I'm doing fine
cpa just opened certain doors, but it's not the end all be all. i have a cpa but get paid the same as coworkers at the same level so it's not gonna get you more money unless you choose that path and move up. lots of interesting areas too, i.e. internal audit, operations, risk, controllership. none of these would necessarily need a cpa but they do often have their own certificates.
I only have an Associates in Business and work as a Project Accountant in the Construction Industry. So yes, you can do accounting type work. Look into AP or AR as a starting point.
Yes you can there are no rules against it or anything. I have several friends that are doing accountant work and they don't have their CPA's either.
