I’m not a certified account. Can I still do accounting as a job if it’s similar to
Accounting work ?

Absolutely, there are a ton of jobs where you do not have to have a CPA. That being said, there are the obvious advantages to having one. I started in bookkeeping and went from there. Helps to get in somewhere and you can better see what you want to do and what certs/degrees will be best.

Yes. I don't have a cpa and I'm doing fine

like

cpa just opened certain doors, but it's not the end all be all. i have a cpa but get paid the same as coworkers at the same level so it's not gonna get you more money unless you choose that path and move up. lots of interesting areas too, i.e. internal audit, operations, risk, controllership. none of these would necessarily need a cpa but they do often have their own certificates.

I only have an Associates in Business and work as a Project Accountant in the Construction Industry. So yes, you can do accounting type work. Look into AP or AR as a starting point.

Yes you can there are no rules against it or anything. I have several friends that are doing accountant work and they don't have their CPA's either.
