Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

Why PwC? Just curious as for the most part, B4 is B4. That said, it’s really tough to break into the B4/Accenture consulting circle, but once you’re in it, you’re going to be highly competitive for any role you apply to (assuming you meet the qualifications). Referrals certainly help, and if your referrer can prop you up to some senior folks, then that is always better. Don’t lose hope, but also don’t put all your eggs in the PwC basket. My two cents…
I have a bias for PwC, with a friend who has told me about the type of projects they do, and the impressive caliber of leadership within the organization. However, EY is also great, another organization I have been rejected from - but in my earlier years. :)
Referrals - ideally from someone senior (of if your contact is junior then ask them to pitch you to a partner)
Personally if someone refers a contact to our recruitment team, or in system - it’ll usually be screened out before I see it. However if one of my team asks me to at least meet their contact, and if we’re not interested then give them some advice - I’ll almost always say yes
Obviously it depends on whether you’re comfortable asking your contact to do that
Don’t get disheartened after a few rejections. At the entry-level we get so so many applications, and it’s so hard to really determine who is better than others (since CV really says very little).
Thank you 🙏
Maybe you want it too much, try applying to other companies
