I’m really struggling to pass any of the CPA exams 😭 I’ve taken FAR, AUD, BEC and BAR over the years.

I do believe I have an understanding of the info but when it comes to the exam I just choke or can’t apply it. My understanding/memorization is good but my application/analysis must be trash lol I feel like I’m missing something!

Anyone struggle to pass any of the exams then made a shift that they think helped them finally pass?

Looking for any tips you guys might have!!

I was in the same boat as you. I took a few parts, failed by 1 or 2 points, would lose all motivation then gave up after a while. A colleague suggested a tutor and this has helped me tremendously. I have passed 3 parts in less than 1 year, all while working full time. At first I didn’t know if it would be worth it because tutors can get a bit pricey, but I 100% satisfied and glad I am working with a tutor. I stopped thinking about the short-term costs of a tutor and am looking at the bigger picture. If this is something within your means, I would suggest getting a tutor.

Best of luck to you, you can do it!

Same question here??

For example, I used to do the TBS by hand on paper but now do them in excel and I think that might help!

Thank you! Yes, I’ve been working with Joe & Matt at CPATutors.com. Joe started with an intro call to see what my past issues have been, how to improve, etc. then I’ve been having tutoring sessions with Matt. I believe this is based out of New York but everything is done with Zoom so that shouldn’t be an issue. I hope this helps!
