I'm relocating from Frederick,MD to Spokane WA. I currently make ~150k base per year in MD, and will make ~170k base in WA. Both figures are before bonuses and differentials. I have a family of 4, and we are moderately comfortable in MD, we can go out to eat on occassion, and afford our basic expenses. Although the general cost of living seems less expensive in WA; does anyone have experience with a similar transition? What was it like? Did you have to adjust your quality of life?

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.)
