Hi - keep your head up! It’s tough out there right now but not impossible. There’s a few things you can do. 1) Review the resume - you can share your resume to either Reddit or something like Resume Builder (redacted of course) for external feedback. 2) LinkedIn Premium - if you haven’t yet, I recommend getting this until you snag a job. The site can give you info on all the benefits. 3) Look over your network, either on LinkedIn or in your Rolodex, and try to identify people who you are acquainted with that have roles similar to what you are looking for at different companies from your last one. You don’t need to cold call, but get comfortable sending messages to these people. 4) Don’t be too narrow in your job search - job skills are generally transferable across industries. You may land a similar job (“office manager”) at a company you never would have thought of. Good luck!
Good advice!
It’s really hard out there! I’ve been applying (to roles lower than my current position) and I’ve still been getting rejected 😣 not sure what’s going on with the market. Just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone ❤️
Ugh I didn’t even think about that! That’s so stupid 😣
All of those jobs have been outsourced abroad.
I can’t find anything
Accounting skill is actually valuable focus on that.
