Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

No; getting one won’t. People make mistakes. We can forgive one. Getting multiple shows a pattern and a problem. That could result in your dismissal
Agree 100% ^^ no excuses for DUIs nowadays
Seriously, take an Uber like a decent human. There should be no tolerance for DUIs
In some states there is no distinction, and in others they have both. In some states it includes driving while using illegal and now legal drugs. So I wouldnt say that it is as cut and dry. All the information would need to be considered, including the type of work you do along with the type of clients you serve.
If it isn’t, it should be grounds for dismissal.
Would like to clarify based on comments above; I view a DUI as lesser offense then a DWI. A DUI to me meant a lower level of blood alcohol, otherwise impaired or driving on certain medication, etc. While a DWI is when you are fully drunk driving. I stand by my statement about a DUI under my interpretation. If you are using the term DUI and DWI interchangeably, then a full DWI could definitely get you fired.
No but if you are assurance and lose your driver's license it could get complicated.
A DUI/DWI in Canada could cost you your CPA permit depending on which province you practice in. Losing your permit could be grounds for dismissal.
Sa2, settle down...
It won’t get you fired but you’re going to have one hell of a time getting a job outside of PA after
Good luck on working on clients with government contracts either
Lmao for real SA2 you’re off your rocker if you think a one time DUI offense is going to permanently ruin their chance to be employed outside of public accounting
