I'm struggling to find common ground with coworkers who constantly don't keep the rest of the team in the loop. A lot of top-down last minute demands (not requests) with unreasonable deadlines. The swirl is causing long work weeks (70+). If something is missed - full on gaslighting and avoidance of accountability. What methods have you gone about combating this? They have no interest to collaborate (and caused others to quit) so looking for solutions that foster a healthy work environment.

Sounds exactly like the agency I'm at. (Omnicom shop, west coast.)

....but pretty sure this describes a large number of agencies.

In our case I believe it's mostly a client issue. Good luck getting things running smooth.

There have been multiple attempts to resolve the disconnect and compromise, but considering they have caused others to quit, I'm looking for solutions that will help keep my team's sanity in the madness.

How do you approach usability testing for new onboarding sequences? I work with a variety of SaaS businesses and recently requests have come in to test onboarding prototypes.

New users are the first to touch onboarding so how do I recruit the appropriate participants to test? Recruiting new users doesn’t seem feasible, I would think we should run A/B tests and cross-check analytics to measure success? Any insight is appreciated!

DE&I is now a core leadership competency. If you are managing diverse talent, it’s important to understand what the term “privilege” means within a DE&I context so you can lead your team to higher levels of inclusivity+develop optimal strategies for solutioning around team issues/challenges. Everyone has some aspect of privilege depending upon the context. Privilege means the absence of obstacles/barriers, not necessarily the presence of perks. Though some would say *that* itself is a perk.

Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I’ve been bait & switched into a horrible role, overworked to the point of having medical problems, and no amount of diplomatic talks with my manager has improved the day to day. My mental health and my personal relationships have been on a steady decline.
