Im thinking about getting my CFP, unfortunately my company does not reimburse so was debating on if the certification was worth the cost. If so, what are the best courses available and how much time should you set aside to study? Is taking the test in July too unrealistic at this point if i start asap?

I did Bryant University and the Brett Danko’s signature review… all in around $4k.
The classes about 5 hours a week for a year. Study for the test about 10 hours a week for three months. But the month before the test it was all I could do. Crammed studying into every free minute. Week of the test… got a motel room near the exam and studied all day and evening for four days.
Passed first time… I don’t think I could have done it again if I hadn’t.

Thank you!!

Will you make back the amount you spent to get the certification once you get it / will your comp improve dramatically

I would recommend Kaplan Schweser courses

Hi, I just saw the take the test in July part. And yes that is unrealistic if you work or otherwise have a life. One year minimum… 6-9 months for coursework and capstone. 3 months study for the exam

Hi all,
I am tech guy with almost 3yr exp, but I want to switch to a Management role. Going for an MBA is not possible for me. I was wondering about the possibility to switch to a management role within the next 2 years without an MBA. Company/Brand is not a bar for me.

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

Guys, I possess 8yrs experience in technical field/software development. I have done B.tech from tier-3 college & have worked mostly in service based MNCs.

I would like to know what would be the path if I would like to move to VP(technology)/CTO role in the long run.

As I have not done PG & even graduated from tier-3 college, are there any additional courses which can boost & add value to my profile?

I'm currently working in Marketing Analytics (primarily using SQL and a bit of pyspark). Apart from mastering SQL, I wanted to know from people working at Google what does it take to get there as a Data Scientist? (I'm very interested in Strategy Ops)

I plan to another 6-8 months in preparation and upskilling myself before I even apply.
